Seattle sees rising rents for the first time since COVID-19 pandemic started

The Seattle PI recently reported that ApartmentList reported the first increase in Seattle rent prices since before the pandemic. Rents increased 2% over the previous month. This was the largest increase since 2019.

Seattle had the third-largest drop in rent prices from February 2020 to 2021 at 20%. Any movement in the other direction is a good trend.

With the entire state moving into Phase 3, we are hopeful to see these numbers continue to increase.

If you have questions about your property and rental rates, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’d love to see if we can help you get the most from your rental income.
