WA State Passes Law to Help Property Owners Remove Squatters

On May 10, Governor Inslee signed legislation which will enable property owners to have squatters expelled from their property by law requirement promptly, instead of navigating the protracted eviction process.

SB 5388 had unanimous, bipartisan support in both the House and Senate, goes into effect on July 23, 2017.
